NIPSEY HUSSLE’S ALLEGED SHOOTER (ERIC HOLDER) CHARGED; ATTORNEY IS OJ PROSECUTOR CHRIS DARDEN!
Eric Holder, the man who is alleged to have shot and killed Nipsey Hussle has pled not guilty and had his bond set at $5 million. He’s set to be back in court for another hearing on May 10. Interestingly, Holder’s attorney is Christopher Darden, the prosecutor (along with Marsha Clark) in the infamous OJ Simpson case.
Earlier on Thursday, the L.A. County D.A. charged Holder with 1 count of murder, 2 counts of attempted murder and 1 count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Holder faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
The attempted murder charges are for the alleged shootings of Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva.
As has been reported, Nipsey Hussle was at his Marathon Clothing store on Sunday to help his friend Kerry — who recently got out of jail — get some new clothes. Shermi is Kerry’s nephew and had driven him to meet with Nipsey.
TMZ reports that Holder is being held in solitary confinement, as there is the real possibility that someone in the prison population would love nothing better that do some real harm, if not outright kill him. At this point, Holder is less popular than Donald Trump and that’s saying something.
Bottom line, it’s highly doubtful he’ll see daylight anytime soon. Remember, his bail is set at $5 million. But then he is being repped legally by Christopher Darde, who not a public defender as far as we know. So, what’s that all about. Something to make ya go, hmmmm …
In any event, cops say they believe Holder — who goes by the street name, “Shi**y Cuz” — is the person seen in surveillance video shooting Nipsey and his friends multiple times. The Crenshaw rapper died Sunday afternoon from gunshots to his head and torso.
