Winterblast At Lock 3 2019 Schedule And New Attractions

For the 16th consecutive winter, the City of Akron will provide residents and visitors a season of outdoor fun and activities for adults and children. Northeast Ohio’s most popular spot to ice skate and celebrate the holiday season will feature family-friendly events and attractions all winter. This year’s new addition, Ice Bikes, will offer even more fun this season, with an opportunity for those non-skaters to experience the ice! Returning is the Huntington Ice Rink, Ohio’s largest outdoor seasonal Ice Skating Rink, which is 12 feet longer than in previous years, Great Lakes Construction Ice Bumper Cars, the Downtown Akron Partnership Tree Lighting Celebration, the Bridgestone Welcome Santa Parade, First Tee Polar Putt-Putt (Indoors), the Signet Polar Cub Rink (Indoors), and Akron Community Foundation sponsored Breakfast with Santa. New this year is Candy Cane Lane with 8 magical windows at Lock 3 to delight both young and old.
