STEPH CURRY WANTS TO PARTNER WITH DIDDY TO BUY THE CAROLINA PANTHERS

*It’s pretty safe to say everybody is looking for an opportunity of some kind. Even when you have lots of money, you’re still looking for something.

That would be the case of music mogul Sean Diddy Combs and NBA basketball superstar Steph Curry. They want in on the sale of Jerry Richardson’s controlling interest in the NFL’s Carolina Panthers franchise.

As we reported earlier, Richardson, 81, has decided to dump the team he founded after allegations of sexual harassment and racism made against him emerged:

Immediately following the team’s announcement, Combs and Curry raised their hands to let the world know they wanted in. First up was Diddy.

Diddy also raised a few eyebrows when he said if buys the team, he’d sign Colin Kaepernick as QB. This of course has put his chances of buying the team at less than zero because it would have to be approved by the other owners. Need we say more? Didn’t think so.

Anyway, as we said, Diddy isn’t the only who’s interested in purchasing the franchise.

Life-long Carolina Panthers fan and current Golden State Warriors superstar guard Steph Curry took to Twitter to share his desire to want to own a part of the Panthers.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million contract with the Golden State Warriors last offseason and is also hauling in close to $50 million annually from endorsements.

So even though Even though Curry’s money is long, it ain’t long enough to buy the NFL team.

By the way, Richardson and the Panthers say they won’t start the bidding process until after the season ends, so for Sean Combs or Steph Curry or any other interested buyer, they will have to wait until the Panthers’ season ends.
