The M.G.T Of Akron "Survival Event" Impacted Our Community

Recently I've had the pleasure of hooking up with Sister Nadiyah Habeeb-Ullah from the mighty M.G.T Of Akron. For those that don't know the M.G.T Of Akron is the female collective from The Nation Of Islam Muhammad's Mosque #37. One of the great things about these sisters is they're ALWAYS doing some form of outreach for the community.

This summer they decided to work with us here at The Mecca Media Community Network in an effort to get the word out more effectively. Personally, I feel honored to be working with these queens as they/we embark on a very busy summer season of outreach efforts and programs. With that being said they did their thing on Saturday, June 9th, 2018.

The Survival 2018 event was held at 60 Goodyear Blvd. Akron Ohio 44305 (which is the Goodyear Heights library). The event started at 2pm. In short, the event touched on topics like "always being ready and prepared" in case of a natural disaster. There were physical examples of the things you will need to be prepared if the worst should ever happen.

In closing, once again I would like to say thank you to the "mighty" MGT Of BLAkron Ohio for always pushing the program and by displaying a consistent effort as it pertains to community building here in our city. Posted below you'll see my quick conversation with sister Nadiyah Habeeb-Ullah as we talked about everything from bean pies to the 2018 Survival event. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
