CHIEFS DEFEAT 49ERS 31-20 TO WIN SUPER BOWL LIV; MAHOMES NAMED MVP

It took them 50 years, but the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49er 31-20 to win the Super Bowl Sunday night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

To get the job done, the Chiefs had to overcome a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to cap a season that Kansas City has waited half a century for.

It also marks the first Super Bowl win for Chiefs coach Andy Reid, and the first for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who not only won the MVP during the 2018 season, his first as a starter, he was also named the MVP of Super Bowl LIV.
