JENNIFER LOPEZ AND SHAKIRA LEAVE FANS STUNNED WITH SUPER BOWL LIV HALFTIME PERFORMANCE
Fans of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were left stunned by their Super Bowl LIV halftime show at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
During Lopez’s 10-minute-plus set, she was joined by her 11-year-old daughter Emme Maribel on stage to sing her mother’s hit “Let’s Get Loud.”
One Twitter user wrote, “lo, Her Daughter and Shakira Singing together Was literally one of the best parts of the show, Shakira is a PROFESSIONAL Drummer Tho I LOVE GIRLPOWER”
Another added, (in all caps) “HOW THE FUCK ARE SHAKIRA AND JLO IN THEIR 40’S AND 50’S AND MOVING LIKE THAT LIKE THEY OWNED IT OH MY GOD IM SPEECHLESS.”
User Scott McSauce noted, “JLo and Shakira are embarrassing the system called aging. Smoking hot stuff.”
There was also the “defining moment” when Emme and a bunch of Latin kids were put on display inside cages to serve up a melody.
“This was the defining moment of the Super Bowl. The statement JLo and Shakira made by having the kids singing from these cages was immense,” wrote Twitter user While some fans were excited to see the two artists share the Super Bowl halftime stage, many wanted the show to include Miami-based artists and/or rappers.
