Iyanna Mayweather Faces 99 Years in Prison for Stabbing Baby Mama of Her Boyfriend
*Iyanna Mayweather, daughter of former boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, Jr., is facing up to 99 years in prison following a violent altercation with the baby mama of her boyfriend, hip-hop star NBA YoungBoy.
Iyanna has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a judge has also ordered her to stay away from the victim, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, after she allegedly stabbed the woman during an argument at the rapper’s home in Houston.
The crime is considered a felony in the state of Texas, that could carry out a maximum of 99 years in state prison and a $10,000 fine if she is convicted. The 19-year-old has hired famed attorney Kurt Schaffer, who has confirmed that Mayweather plans to plead not guilty when she appears in court in August, per Ace Showbiz.
Iyanna was arrested on April 4 after she was involved in a fight with Jacobs.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Texas judge ordered YaYa follow specific rules after being released on bond. One of the terms states YaYa is to have no contact with the alleged victim and “do not go within 1000 feet of the residence of place of business of the Complainant or any member of her family. Do not go within 1000 feet of any childcare facility or school that the Complainant’s children, if any, may attend.”
The judge ordered YaYa to not possession any weapons and is prohibited from drinking alcohol or taking drugs. Over the weekend, Floyd’s daughter was released on $30,000 bond.
Iyanna allegedly went to Youngboy’s Houston, Texas home at about 1:30am and confronted the woman who was with him. She explained to Jacobs that she was Youngboy’s fiancé and then charged at her with two knives, stabbing Lapattra twice.
Mayweather reportedly told authorities that Jacobs provoked her by yanking her hair before the attack.
She was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Jacobs was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital and had surgery on her arm.
Iyanna was released after posting a $30,000 bond.
Following the altercation, LaPattra’s mother took to Instagram to address the incident.
“Can y’all hating press as w***e’s do me a favor and stop worrying about LaPattra La’shai and s**k her *** and s**k YoungBoy **** and let me see to my child,” she wrote. “Now have a good day and to the people that is truly concern about her well being I’m sorry but enough is enough!!!!!!!!”
