Akron Rap Legend Killed By Police Department

It seems like whenever the police department decides to use deadly force against a member of our community (African American), we are suppose to just act as if they deserved it. Unfortunately, Akron Hip Hop/Rap legend Michael Jones AKA Mike Jones (among his other mc names) should be alive today. With the recent release of the police footage of his last moments on this earth, the city of Akron is in the limelight of yet another police killing of another black man. You'd think with the popularity of the Jayland Walker case that the city of Akron and it's police department would be more carful and less trigger happy. With that being said our prayers are with the family and friends of Michael Jones. As a part of Akron's press & media we feel it's necessary that we give a fair take on the incidents that ultimately lead to his untimely death.
