Akron's Italian–American Festival!

The Council of Italian–American Societies of Summit County and the City of Akron are excited to announce the return of the Summit County Italian–American Festival!
When: Thursday, August 3rd – Saturday, August 5th
Location: Due to Lock 3 renovations, the 2023 festival will take place on Bowery Street and Cascade Plaza
Schedule of events: (will be updated as more details/activities are finalized. Times and entertainment subject to change)
Thursday, August 3rd: 11:00 am to 1:00pm: Avanti Italian Band at Cascade Plaza 7:00pm: Flag Ceremony followed by China Grove- Doobie Brothers Tribute Band at the Main Stage on Bowery St.
Friday, August, 4, 2023: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Avanti Italian Band at Cascade Plaza 7:00pm: Kerosene; followed by Abba Mania at the Main Stage on Bowery St.
Saturday, August 5, 2023: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Avanti Italian Band at Cascade Plaza 4:00pm: Catholic Mass at Cascade Plaza 7:00pm: Long Time Gone Music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young; followed by Lights Out, the Frankie Valli Tribute Band at the Main Stage on Bowery St.
….and of course, the BEST fireworks show in town!
