Rapper Black Rob (‘Whoa!’) Dies at 51
Robert Ross, better known as Black Rob, who came to fame as a Bad Boy Records’ artist, has died. He passed away on Saturday (04-17-21) in an Atlanta area hospital. He was 51.
As of this posting, Rob’s cause of death hasn’t been revealed, hyo9wever the rapper suffered several strokes since 2015. Following the passing of DMX, Power 105.1’s DJ Self posted a video of Ross looking frail as he lay in a hospital bed.
“I don’t know, the pain is crazy, man,” he said in the short clip. “It’s helping me out, though, it’s making me realize I got a lot to go.”

In the wake of the video being published, Black Rob/Ross revealed that he was homeless and battling multiple health problems, including kidney failure.
