Shontel Browns GOTV Rally In Akron Ohio

U.S. Congressional Candidate Shontel Brown, a member of Cuyahoga County Council District Nine held one of her Akron GOTV (Get Out To Vote) Rallys (campaign event) at the Historical Perkins Family Mansion in Akron, OH on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Shontel is getting out here in these streets campaigning and educating voters on why she is the best candidate to fill the seat as representation for North Eastern Ohio’s Eleventh Congressional District in Washington. AkronHipHop.com’s Brother Hiram Akeem served as the host of the event. He introduced each heavy hitter of politics and Congressional Black Caucus members prior to them stepping to the podium. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Congressman Bennie Thompson, Congressman Gregory Meeks, and Congressman Jim Clyburn along with Akron City Council President Margo Sommerville, and Daniel Horrigan Mayor of Akron shared with us their endorsement of candidate Shontel Brown. At Large Representative Ginger Baylor closed out the Akron GOTV Rally with an invitation to individuals who were ready to vote on Saturday to ride the Campaign Bus to the voting polls. The upcoming special election is being held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 and this special election decides who will face off in the November election against the Republican candidate.
