As part of the America 250-Ohio celebration, the courthouse will host a free public open house on Thursday, August 6, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. and the official ceremony beginning at 4:05 p.m. -6pm. The event is more than a celebration of history—it's an opportunity for residents to explore the courthouse, meet local judges, and gain a better understanding of how the judicial system serves Summit County.
Organizers hope the event will help remove some of the mystery and intimidation that people often associate with courthouses.
