After 14 years of building one of the most recognizable brands in urban media, Tasha K is taking her next major step.

The media personality has signed a multi-stack syndication deal with Oceanic Tradewinds, the powerhouse company behind Wendy Williams, Rickey Smiley, and Donnie McClurkin, setting the stage for a national and global push.

The partnership has been years in the making. Executive producer and voice-over icon Rick Party first spotted Tasha K on YouTube in 2017 before introducing her to Oceanic Tradewinds founder and president Gary Bernstein. “I’m genuinely happy to be partnering with a company I’ve admired since I came into this business,” Tasha K said in a statement. “Rick Party first spotted me on YouTube back in 2017 and took me to Gary, who I met three years ago, so this has truly been a deal in the works for about three years. If it wasn’t for Rick, I wouldn’t have met or become part of this incredible team.”

Tasha K brings considerable platform weight to the deal. Her presence across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, BiGo, and additional platforms generates between 150 and 200 million views per month, backed by a fanbase known as the Winos. Bernstein drew a direct line between Tasha K and one of his most celebrated clients.

“Working with Tasha reminds me of when I worked with Wendy and syndicated her, that same star power, that same connection to the people,” he said. “She brings reach, loyalty, and commerce, backed by platforms generating between 150 and 200 million views per month across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, BiGo, and more, all anchored by one of the most loyal fanbases in entertainment: the Winos. They don’t just watch. They show up. They support. They convert. That’s the kind of engagement advertisers spend years trying to manufacture.”

Party was equally direct about what drew him to Tasha K in the first place. “When I saw Tasha K on YouTube years ago, I knew she had the ‘it’ factor,” he said. “She reminded me of Petey Greene, unapologetically Black, fearless, raw, and connected to the people, with that same conversation-starting energy Wendy Williams brought to media. Love her or hate her, people watch, people react, people talk. That’s the Tasha K star power.”

Tasha K is also set to headline the Everything Is Allegedly Tour, a one-woman comedy show spanning 16 cities beginning in September.

“Now I’m working closely with Gary and Rick, and they’re implementing a strong sales force team behind me and the brand that my team and I have built over the last 14 years,” she added. “This is just the beginning.”

Specific tour dates and additional details on the syndication deal are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
