The City of Akron announced new drinking water rates today

The City of Akron announced new drinking water rates today. Rate changes will fund critical work to keep the water system running reliably. For a typical household, the monthly drinking water portion of the bill will go from about $25 to $30 in 2027. The first increase will show up on February bills. Assistance is available through the City's Water Bill Assistance Program for eligible households.
