What's Up With The Fireworks On Wednesday Night?

The Akron Beacon Journal have reported that the fireworks that could be seen in parts of the Akron skyline was due to a 50th birthday celebration at the University of Akron's Infocision Stadium. The university and Akron Fire Department confirmed that fireworks were part of a private event at the stadium.
