Wine & Gold got back on track

After dropping two straight, the Wine & Gold got back on track in New Orleans on Wednesday night – and look to keep that momentum rolling on Saturday afternoon when they take on the surging Rockets in Houston.

Marking Donovan Mitchell’s return from a seven-game absence, the Cavaliers jumped all over the red-hot Pelicans in third quarter, pulling away to snap New Orleans’ win streak at four. Cleveland was outstanding on both ends of the floor in the win – drilling 20 three-pointers and handing out a season-high 38 assists while holding the Pelicans starting backcourt to a combined 11 points.

The Cavs face another team on the heels of their fourth straight victory when they travel to Houston. Still clinging to scant Playoff aspirations, the Rockets have won six of their last seven outings, including a 16-point blowout over Washington on Thursday night, with Jalen Green erupting for 37 points to lead six players in double-figures.

Cleveland wraps up the roadie on Monday night in Indiana, taking on the high-octane Pacers before returning home for a Wednesday night showdown with the Heat.
