Women Supporting Women: A Day of Empowering Women

Akron, OH – August 14, 2024 — We proudly announce a momentous event, Women Supporting Women: A Day of Empowering Women, scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024. This event will highlight women making significant strides in politics, business, and community activism, with a focus on elevating women’s achievements and contributions.

The event will occur at Hardesty Park, located at 1615 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44320, from Noon to 8:00 PM. Women Supporting Women aims to bring together leaders, advocates, and community members dedicated to fostering empowerment and effecting meaningful change at the city, county, state, and national levels.

Keynote Address by TBA: Celebrating women’s historic role and ongoing efforts in championing equity, inclusion, and equality.

Over a Dozen Phenomenal Women Speakers: Including women in business, politics, and community leaders driving positive change.

Women Musicians and Artists: Showcasing the talents of female musicians and artists, adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the event.

Vendors: Featuring a variety of vendors offering unique products and services.

Networking Opportunities: Connecting attendees with influential figures and like-minded individuals committed to supporting women and promoting community improvement.

Workshops and Sessions: Focused on empowering women with the skills and knowledge to make a difference in their respective fields.
