Jaz Hunt Is Giving Back

This past father's day was more than amazing. Akron businessman Jaz Hunt put his money and efforts where everybody should put them and that's the community. That's right Jaz Hunt took it upon himself to promote a community event for the entire city of BLAkron Ohio. The event was a fun filled day complete with a DJ (DJ Chaka) a kick ball tournament, Dancing and of-course good food.

When thinking how one person can visualize an event like this and pull it off without a hitch, makes me wonder why more of us are not doing it. The event took place at the popular Lane Field which was the community in which the brotha Jaz comes from. One of the great things about this event was the amount of different people from different sides of town that showed up.

Jaz Hunt not only had his business which is his "Family Baker's Fun House" he also had other businesses contributing to the event as well. Jaz made sure that the food was unlimited. That's right, he paid for everything insuring that no one would go without food, water, soda, and of-course his ever so popular snow cones.

In-closing, it's a good feeling to know that my city is acting on that consciousness that often gets downplayed in urban communities around the nation.
